Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Vision Awards Nomination
The MLK Jr. Vision Awards are presented as part of the University's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Observance. Historically, the University honors three recipients each year with the Vision Award. Honors are awarded to a faculty member, an administrator or staff member, and a student.
The Vision Awards recognizes individuals who demonstrate a commitment to the ideals and values of Dr. King. The Committee is particularly interested in nominations of people who embody the legacy of Dr. King, but whose acts are not typically recognized, or "unsung heroes" at the University.
The University community is invited to nominate faculty, staff, administrators, and students. Please consider the candidate's service, their professional and personal achievements, and their involvement in social justice, advocacy, and community building initiatives. You may nominate candidates in one or more of the following categories. Please keep in mind what makes the achievements of your nominee distinctive or especially worthy of this recognition.
